ABOUT  UBGC

Uni’Que Basket Giving Corporation (UBGC) is a Detroit‑rooted

501(c)(3) mobile outreach nonprofit dedicated to uplifting seniors,

children, families, and unhoused neighbors with dignity, compassion,

and legacy‑centered care. Founded in 2023, UBGC was created to meet people

exactly where they are — in neighborhoods, shelters, after‑school programs, senior homes, and community spaces — delivering essential resources and heartfelt encouragement with excellence and love.

Since our founding, UBGC has grown into a trusted community anchor. Through our three registered DBA programs — Smiles 4Kids, UBGC Community & Mobile Food Pantry, and In the ‘D’ FreeShop — we provide practical support and emotional care to those who need it most. Our outreach includes literacy initiatives, senior comfort visits, mobile food distribution, hygiene support, and community connection events.

Our impact reflects our heart for service:

• 3,000 families fed and supported through our mobile food pantry

• 2,000 books and literacy bundles distributed to children across Detroit

• Over 1,000 hygiene kits provided to individuals and families in need

Every meal shared, every book placed in a child’s hands, and every hygiene kit delivered represents a moment of dignity, hope, and connection.
