Session 1 — 
The Beginning of a Beautiful Journey
Our first Literacy Learners session opened with faith, hope, and a handful of children who wandered in through the library doors. Prepared for twelve, we welcomed four eager learners and watched curiosity bloom. What began as a quiet start became a joyful evening of reading, laughter, and discovery — proof that small beginnings can lead to great things.
Session 1
Focus: Emotional awareness and self‑regulation

Outcome: Learners practiced naming emotions and learned simple breathing and counting techniques to manage big feelings.

Session 2 — Building Routine and Relationships
By our second Literacy Learners gathering, the circle had grown wider and brighter. Five children joined in — four brand‑new faces and one returning friend — ready to read, create, and share. The room buzzed with laughter and scissors snipping as a grandmother joined the table, helping little hands cut and glue. What began as a simple activity became a moment of connection, showing that learning blossoms best in community.

Session 3 — Lola the Lollipop Fairy
By Session 3, imagination filled the room. Six bright learners listened wide‑eyed to Lola the Lollipop Fairy, then turned the story’s sparkle into art. todayn,more parents stop by tomregister their children , new learners, we now have 16 learners registered, the group buzzed with creativity — coloring, cutting, and sharing ideas about courage and teamwork. Each collage and drawing reflected a child’s voice, proving that literacy isn’t just about reading words, but discovering your own story within them.
